The easiest way to travel to Northern Cyprus is by air.
Ercan airport is the main airport in Northern Cyprus with daily flights from
Europe and mainland Turkey. There are no direct flights from Europe to the TRNC
and you therefore have to land in Turkey for a 45 minute stop-over, when in most
cases you will remain on the aircraft, before you can complete your journey.
Alternatively, you can travel to Larnaca in Southern Cyprus and travel north by
road and cross the border. A visa is required, which is free and obtainable at
the border.
Airlines that fly to Northern Cyprus from the UK are CTA (Cyprus
Turkish Airlines), Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines.
